VOCs Today
The term Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) refers to a specific
group of chemicals that are carbon-based (organic) and readily
enter a gaseous form (volatile). Of the thousands of chemicals
that are considered VOCs, many are known or believed to be dangerous
to human health.
As more information is being released about the dangers of VOCs,
the general public is reacting by demanding safer products, cleaner
environments, and air cleaning solutions. This site, designed
by

Industries, was created as an informational resource
on VOCs by compiling information provided by the US Environmental
Protection Agency (EPA), the Australian National Pollutant Inventory
(NPI), the US National Library of Medicine (NLM), and several
other governmental regulatory or information sources. Browse the
links to learn more about VOCs.
